These bars are rich in lipids and proteins, low in carbohydrates and sugars, with healthy, natural fats and, of course, always gluten- and sweetener-free. The disadvantage of gels and other sugary products is that they give you a quick boost, but if you don&apos;t take them every 30-45 min, you quickly fall into hypoglycemia.- Lipids are assimilated in the intestine, not in the stomach like carbohydrates. This considerably reduces the risk of digestive disorders. This is a real advantage, especially when you consider that digestive problems are one of the main causes of abandonment in endurance and ultra-distance sports.&#xA0;- A higher calorie intake.
